Detailed question
I have a Sony Vaio TZ150 notebook. Beautiful, beautiful piece of machinery. However, there's one problem that has been bothering me. On the top right corner of the keyboard, directly to the right of the delete key, there is an area that is squeaky. It doesn't appear to be the hinge that is squeaky, but rather this area next to the delete key, in the top right corner of the keyboard. It's not a catastrophic issue. The notebook functions normally. However, if you take into consideration that I can hear this squeaky noise every single time I open and close the lid, every single time I pick up the notebook or lift it off of the table, and every single time I just move the notebook, it is easy to see that it can be irritating. This is an understatement. It can be extremely irritating. Circuity City is charging me a very high price to have their technicians look at it. I would rather do it myself and am willing to pay a small fee to anyone with a clear-cut set of instructions. Does anyone have squeaky areas on their Vaio TZ's? I'd really like to know if this is a design flaw, or if it's just me being extremely unlucky and purchasing an imperfectly-built Vaio TZ. More importantly, is there a way to fix this issue? I will need detailed instructions with pictures or a video on how to fix it. Note: I've owned this notebook for less than a month. |
