Detailed question
I have a Sony Handycam Mini DV DCR-HC32 that has stopped working since last week. Basically, it used to make a ting sound when it was turned on when it used to work properly. Now it has stopped working and neither does the ting sound go off when I open it nor do I see any images on the LCD. If I record through the view finder, it records fine, but I have to check it by connecting to the TV. Settings and other modes appear on the screen. Only recording mode doesn't. It is no longer under warranty so I will have to take it to an Electronics store to get it repaired. I am not that electronics savvy but I don't want to pay high repair costs. Can someone give me an answer as to whether I can fix this at home or I will have to shell out the money for repair? Give me detailed steps and I am confident I can fix it myself. Diagrams will be appreciated. Let me know in your bid response if you are going to provde instructions diagram together with your answer. |
