Detailed question

Hello,

I love the fall season but it also brings the allergies. I have started getting those sneezing spells again. My doctor has essentially told me that the only way to manage my allergies is to take anti-allergent medicines for the whole month.

But I get very drowsy when I take that medicine and I am definitely not interested in taking it for the whole month. Usually, I take my medicine on the day I am really feeling bad with continuous watery discharge and non-stop sneezing. The medicine stops my sneezing but then I lose all body energy and even get depressed due to the medicine for a couple of days. If I am lucky, I simply bounce back and have another few days before the next bout of allergy. But if I am unlucky then sometimes the allergy related sneezing stops and gets converted into a full blown regular cough and cold.

This pattern has been going on for past few years and I feel very frustrated at not having a permanent solution. I was told by my doctor about taking those painful tests where they prick you to test and find out what you are allergic to. But that may take 3-to-4 years of just testing and then what if I get some new allergent?

Is there any natural or alternative treatments to permanently cure the allergy? Please don't scam me but rather bid for this post only if you have a tried and tested solution.
